Chick has something by vent

I had a chick with pasty butt that also had a place lower down that looked like more poop (much smaller than what you're showing but same general area), but like you it seemed so attached I did not pull too hard on it. So GLAD I didn't. They do have a 'belly button' that will eventually go away or become unnoticeable. Apparently their skin is thin enough that pulling on it can cause some serious issues. I will jot repeat what I read about that because I'm still horrified. Sounds to me like you're doing the right thing keeping its vent clean and not messing with the other area.

It’s smaller today so I am guessing it’s drying up more! I googled yolk not absorbed after someone said it and that’s what it looks like. So I will leave it alone. As it’s said it can take awhile for it to fall off! I’ve just been checking on the chick a lot!
