Chick has twisted ankle? Is this fixable?

4/5 days ago I had my first chicks hatch from my incubator, one of them had curled toes on both feet and at first I thought this was in line with curled toes so I splinted it, but it hasn't improved much with splitting and I can't really move it into position well ( the ankle ) .

No but i can, how do you think that would help it?

I don't know that it would help. Something to try to see if it works. Also, giving vitamin B-complex can help strengthen legs.

I bought the vitamin and put it in their water, he/she walks fine, it's just the foot with the weird ankle can't lay flat on the ground. We'll see if it helps in any way.

It may be the leg just needs to develop strength. I would dilute the B-complex tab in the water each day. It will help.

There's a chance this can straighten as the muscles strengthen but it may be a genetic defect that she will have to live with.
