Chick hasn't absorbed yolk, Help!

I had a chick hatch early (day 18) and the yolk wasn't absorbed yet so I did what I told you in the post above and crossed my fingers. Some absorb the yolk successfully while some don't and die

That's what I've heard too. You can also put him in a small coffee cup to keep him/her from struggling around and possibly breaking the yolk sac open. Keep us updated.

ok i put him with the damp warm paper towl in a coffe cup should i put him upright or lay the coffe cup on its side?

every thing is still the same hes just laying there. Any idea why this happened?

Why are some children born with birth defects? Sometimes things just happen. Just do the best you can do & don't worry about it.
