Chick hasn't internally pipped on day 22

What did you do next and how did it go?
I had just kept putting a tiny droplet of warm water on the membrane, even after the chick externally pipped. I knew by the time it had pipped that if I didn’t keep the membrane moist it would have shrink wrapped the little guy since I had opened the incubator so many times. It wound up fully hatching with just a little help. He’s out moving around just fine in the brooder now.

Thanks. I'm in a similar position. I've been putting water on hourly for the last day and he's just pipped externally. All blood now absorbed. Did you peel the internal back?

Whenever I could tell that the veins had mostly drawed up I did have to eventually help the chicks head out of a bind as it was a strange air pocket originally.
