chick hatched and did not make it :(

Well now 5 have hatched of the farmers eggs we got down the road and they are healthy and peeping and everything so I know my incubator did pretty well. Hehehe.

But there was a Buff that piped and then did some zipping but there was so much blood and I did not know what to do. Anyway the baby just sat there breathing so I left him in. Well.........just now it took its last breath.

I feel so sad.
I guess I better be happy though, I have other chickes, but I really want a buff to hatch for my daughter. I think though for me its to much to ask. I probably need to be a professional.

Anyway just wanted to tell everyone and put that out there. I hope everyone is having a great weekend.

this was one of Jodys buffs. Thats ok though because we had another one of her buffs hatch out a couple of hours ago!!!!!!!!!!!!
So now we have 7 babies!

it doesn't make it easier, i know, but . . .

well, anyway, i'm so sorry. that must have been incredibly sad to have to watch.
