Hi all!

I just hatched out a mixed batch of chicks, and one of the last two to make it out of the egg IMO hatched too quickly - egg was very very bloody, and little thing was outside the egg and trying to move away but stuck by the umbillical for 7 hours before I made the executive decision to intervene and sever the cord as close to the egg as I could. It has survived the night, but is very weak and not really able to bounce around the incubator like the rest of the hatch, but does cheep and respond to stimuli. It's also my only surviving Ayam Cemani of my attempted 10, so if I can save it I would very much like to.

I pretty much am expecting it to die, but is there anything I can do? Maybe give it raw/cooked egg yolk? Sav-a-Chik? Both?

I would definitely start with electrolytes/SaveAChick/Nutri Drench.
I've had a bad run of helping chicks so I can't offer gold star advice I'm afraid.
Be vigilant about getting fluids in him and watching temps.

It is likely weaky due to blood loss so 'feeding' it droplets of anything with electrolytes or sugars will be helpful. I don't think egg yolk is necessary to feed at this point, it is more about fluids. Two or three drops every hour should be enough.
