CHICK HATCHING 3 DAYS EARLY!!!!

I have a chick that is hatching 3 days early I just put the hatching tray in and tapping all of them to see if I hear them peck back and instead of a peck it made a chirp What do I do!

The babies were suppose to go to a broody who's sitting on 5 eggs, I guess if its healthy ill keep it inside until the others hatch.

Yes, let it alone! It can take a full day after pipping internally; sometimes longer. Are your eggs from bantams? They sometimes hatch early.

no normal black copper EE mix, I had this happen last time with the same shape egg but the chick hatched on time but was underdeveloped and we had to euthanize it.

Were you using the same incubator as last time? I wonder if your temps are running high. That can explain early hatches and underdevelopment at hatch time.

You have 72 hours from the point when it's completely hatched.

We have another one hatching, so I think when they were put in when they were developed on day one so they are hatching a day early.
