How long should i leave it in the warm incubator? Last one died after i took it from the incubator.I have a video of a chic hatching but it won’t let me download it to this site. Any suggestions! It’s 5 min long!
Thank you! Is’s a small incubator but i will wait till tonite or maybe tomorow morning. The other one died during the nite in the brooder! You can remove the chicks once they are dry. They can remain in there up to 48 hrs if you do not want to open the incubator for any reason. Once out of incubator, put in brooder quickly. I believe for videos you post on you tube and just post the link here.
So i have 2 chicks that are a week old. Should i separate the new one or will the other chics pick on the new one?Thank you! Is’s a small incubator but i will wait till tonite or maybe tomorow morning. The other one died during the nite in the brooder!
I left the new chic in the incubator for about 30 hrs till it was dry and moving around good. I then put it with the week old chics and just watched for a few hours and it is doing fine. will send pics next. Thank you for the advise. So i have 2 chicks that are a week old.
