My chick seems to be hatching from the tip instead of the bottom. It hasn’t broken the membrane yet but has the shell. I can see it breathing and see its beak. Should I help it out?

I would poke a tiny hole in the membrane just so air can get in but not so you dry baby out
Then just leave it be
You can add a little Vaseline to the membrane so it doesn’t get dry and yo tough for baby
Keep in mind when they skip the internal pip that amount of time we add to the external pip as they still need the time to absorb
Tiny hole no bigger then end of a tac pin
You can moisten the membrane first and candle looking for veins to avoid hurting baby

I did make a little slit for it to breath through and have been keeping the membrane moist. It looks to still be taking in the yolk as it’s swallowing and sometimes peeping. I’m letting it sit and rest till it’s ready! Later tonight if it hasn’t hatched yet I’ll check it and see if I need to assist or not. There’s another egg in there that’s pipped but not ready to come out yet as well. It’s positioned where it should be.
