it is quite a firm pass below the cloca. I dont really know what a chicks ambilical cord looks like any 1 know ?

Mine have a small dark 'lump' a bit below their vent too, thats where their umbilical cord was and I've also read it gets smaller and less noticeable as they get older.

ahh thx wt a relief because the chicks did have pasty but but she is clean now. i am so grateful 2 byc they have helped me hatch 4 chicks
