one of our little banty chicks has gotten really drowsy. it was up and taking water, looking around a bit earlier, but now it’s just laying down. it’s under a heat lamp, has electrolytes, and it had a bit of gel that came with it. it’s head has gotten droopy. what can we do???!

What is the temperature under your heat lamp?
How old is the chick?
What exactly have you been feeding it?
Can you take a picture of the brooder the way it is right now with the chick in it?

it was 93, we just moved the heat lamp down a bit. its 3 days old, and we’ve been feeding it chick starter grower but it hasn’t eaten much

Some chicks simply aren't strong enough to make it. Epically when they are that small there isn't a whole lot you can do except wait.

That's too hot. You need to RAISE the lamp so you aren't cooking it.

the hatchery, and several other people, have told us around 95 degrees for the first week and up to 105 if chilled. the chicks feet were cold to the touch
