Chick holding its head back on its back when drinking water

My 5 week old chick leans its head backwards into its back while drinking water and sometimes while walking around. What should I do?

if it is just tiliting it's head back when it is drinking that is how they drink. they get some in there mouth then tilt their head back so they can swallow it.

There are quite a few threads on wry neck here. This page has a picture of a chick stargazing--same like yours? Giving a few drops of PolyViSol a few times a day is supposed to help.

PolyViSol without iron that is. Just look up wry neck on the forums and you will see the experiences of many with chicks with this problem.
