They both have feathered feet! I would be sooooo happy for a Brahma! They never have them at my feed store. Also I definitely went in today NOT planning on getting chicks, the little brown fuzz ball tugged at my heart though.The bottom most photo looks like it could be a dark brahma. I see feathered feet! The top, I have no clue. So cute, like who cares anyway, right?
The other chick is not a light brahma, but could be a cochin, maybe? I'm not good at chick identification. I got you, a dark brahma would be super great to have. Someone else may know for positive sure. Love em up for me too, would you?

I flunked math and keep adding to my flock. Just got 5 chicks myself. I'm a sucker too! Up to 44 chickens now! Husband is freaking out and mad at me. He'll get over it!Oh absolutely! I restricted myself and only picked up 4 chicks this year, so plenty of love. Was supposed to be only 2, but chicken math
Oh boy! I thought I was in trouble when I brought home 4 and made the total 15! I also may have got 2 turkeys because they were so stinking adorable. ( I did get rid of half of my flock this winter) I had 24 at the beginning of winter.
I want turkeys in the worst way! The feed store says they will be getting some but the problem is that they are straight run. I want a pair! What to do?
Mine were straight run... picked out a pair.. hoping for the best! I got lucky with my geese last year and got 3 straight run, got 2 females and a male. Let’s hope I did it again. But I definitely encourage turkeys. They are the friendliest little things!
