Ok, this is a crazy one, have had a very uneven hatch under a broody mom- I was just about to throw 4 eggs away- saw babies in all eggs- when I heard 2 of the eggs chirping. I am at 28 days on this hatch, mom sits on them at times and not at other times. The chicks have not pipped the shell- I took them away from mom and put them in the incubator- should I just wait now, see if they hatch, or should I break the shell?
I have helped many chicks out of the shell, but only when the shell is broken- what should I do now????? Thank you
