I have a chick that I had in the brooder - and an older hen got to it - pecked the heck out of the her neck. It is pretty red and was bleeding - but I dont see a big wound -so thinking that she just got a lot of fuzz pecked off of her - and hoping to nurse her back -

Is there anything you can think of to put on the wound ? I washed it - but don't have anything in the house like neosporin or even vaseline .... any ideas? or should I just let it dry ?

Maybe put a little peroxide on a Q-tip & dab the bloody spots, just in case the hen had any bacteria on her beak.
You don't by any chance have an aloe vera plant, do you? Aloe is very soothing & healing. Let me think.

You could just clean it with some soap and water if it isn't that bad. Antibacterial soap if you have it. I would try to buy some neosporin without pain relief to keep on hand. It's great for these things. Don't let the older hens get to the chicks, they can really injure the little ones. Good luck with the chick!
