We had a hawk atrack yesterday. Got one through the poultry wire. (I know, but my brother built the coop. It's being corrected now.) One is injured but seems to be doing great. Now the one pictured....
Since the incident this one has just been "droopy" sitting around trying to snuggle or hide under the other chicks. They are way too busy playing to be mommy and just end up stepping on him. I did get him to eat some boiled egg and cantaloupe last night but that's all I've see him eat. No visible injury.

What happened? Should I put him in quarantine with the other injured one? Any other ideas? I'm at a bit of a loss.

If it were mine, I would put this chick with the injured chick. Very likely it was hit or injured in some fashion by the hawk. I would add electrolytes to the water and probably provide a supplementary heat source. Hopefully there are no impact or internal injuries. Good luck.
