Chick is hunched with droopy wings

I've been using 1tsp per gallon.
My store only has corid, so I'll double the concentration.
My husband is having surgery on his hand in a few hours so I'll have to shift my focus to him. I'll put one of my children on chick duty, but I'm not optimistic at this point. She's very weak.

Poor thing!

If corid that the higher sthrength does not work, then it is time to try sulfadimethoxine. It kills a couple more strains of cocci and has anti bacterial properties too. It might be a good thing to have on hand if the others do not respond to Corid.

I hope the hand surgery goes well and the sick chick recovers!

The chick did die last Friday. I have one lonely chick left, and I don't know what to do with it. It seems to be healthy, but I'm afraid to mix him in with my other young pullets since I don't have a definitive answer on what killed the other two.
He peeps in his cage and occasionally closes his eyes, but when I let him out to peck around, he seems very happy and active. I just don't know.

Do you have a gentle meek one who you could try in with him to keep him company. He is still pretty young and can be hurt easily. When he is bigger and does go in with the big girls do it gradually by caging him or fencing him off for a week or two. Integrating 2 is easier than 1 single chick. Sorry for your loss.
