Hey everyone, my hatchings are now a few weeks old and for the most part they're doing fine except 5 of them, which looked slightly lethargic. I took them inside and notices that their crops were empty. I soaked some bread in warm water and added a decent amount of vinegar into the mix and let them eat. After an hour or so they did actually fill their crops and I'm keeping an eye on them for the time being. I noticed that one of them seemed to be making some sort or gurgling noises almost like she was having difficulty breathing, but she's not. The sound only happens when she peeps. She also seems to be sneezing and yawning more than I'm used to seeing them do. Could this be a clogged nostril?

I cannot get the video. If they are a few weeks old they could be showing signs of a respiratory infection with the congestion and gurgly sounds. Infectious bronchitis or MG are common ones. Usually if a nostril is blocked, you can see it. If they are having nasal drainage, it can clog the nostril, and you can clean them off with saline or a drop of hydrogen peroxide on a QTip. Bread is not a good thing to give since it can become gummy and cause crop problems. It would be better to add some water to their chick feed to make an oatmeal consistency.
