Chick keeps pooping everywhere! Help! AND PLEASE HURRY!!!

Chicks poo where ever chicks go. They do not have pody spots like some animals. There are many approaches to handeling the mess. Many scoop it out daily. Others like my self deep litter or cover it with news paper, shaving, straw or hay. Then deep clean when brooding is finished and start the process again in the coop. With the original post we assumed the chick was in a brooder.

I don't understand this post.

Why was it an emergency? Was it really diarrhoea?

Is it still happening, and if so post pictures of the poop.

If its normal poop consistency then it's like getting upset that a human baby fills its daiper several times a day. That's what babies do!

Yeah I don’t understand the post. You just clean it up. chicks stay in the brooder. You replace bedding frequently. And if something is really poopy. You just clean. Like paper towels, Clorox, soap, water, Cleaning stuff. Good luck with your chickens!

1: Chickens poop. There is no stopping it.. there is only managing where it lands.

2: Don't let your chickens be anywhere that you don't want poop to land and/or that has surfaces that are impossible or difficult to clean and disinfect properly. If you "must" having your chicken inside in your living areas, put a floor covering down (an old towel or sheet or newspaper works) and limit their activity to the area that is covered.

3: A brooder is best to have a bedding that is absorbent. There are many choices. Basic option is recycled newspaper. Some use old towels or cloths. A lot of people use shavings or commercial ped bedding options.

4: If a bit of baby chicken poop is giving you anxiety - I strongly recommend you research and prepare for the needs and requirements of an adult chicken! It is best you know what your responsibilities will be so that you can enjoy your chickens rather than feel nervous about caring for them.
