does anyone know what the problem could be with this chick I had to help it hatch and it is very lively it kicks around on its side but when i stand it up it starts shaking then goes into this position again ive given it sugar water and ive tried to feed it. Its been like this for nearly 2 days. Any ideas to what could be wrong? Is it neurological?

You can train the chick to lay on it's belly, & use it's legs.

What I do is I put the chick on its belly, & tuck the legs under it in natural position. This will encourage the chick to raise up. While the chick is raise, keep your had on it for support. This may take a few tries, but eventually the chick will use it's own legs.

Another training method I use, is a small container with a paper town at the bottom for grip. The container has to be small enough that the chick doesn't flop over, but high enough that the chick can't get out. When putting the chick into the container, it has to be placed on it's belly with legs under it.

Sorry I e only just seen I was tagged in this post. I had a chick with splayed leg that sadly didn’t make it. What happened to your chick in the end?
