Chick leg bands. Any recommendations?

I keep a record of each bird by number on my computer.

I keep a paper copy in a shed by the coop so I can record observations immediately. We all have to come up with our own system.

Keep a backup. I lost my computer records and all my photos in a computer crash. That hurt.

I write everything in a notebook. Then transfer to my computer. It is just faster and easier looking things up on the computer.

When the eggs go into lockdown I woukd put each group in a small wire basket, so when they hatch they don't intermix.
