I have a maybe week old silkie who seems to have injured its leg somehow. Still eating and drinking and actively tries to move around on its own, but also lays down a lot to give its good leg a rest it seems. When eating at the feeder, this guy does rest the injured leg on the lip of one of the holes, and when i take him/her out he will LIGHTLY stand on it... so i dont think the FOOT is the problem, but It seems higher up, but im not noticing any swelling, or if there is, im just not seeing it.

Reading around i saw it could be a tendon problem, and while i read the description on how to fix this... im not, exactly sure i still get it? Any good photo documentation to help out? I think i get it, but i dont want to aggravate the problem either, so leaving it is the better option until im 100% sure.

I want to be able to help this fella, good bird, active and has a good appetite. Poop is good too.

Any help from you guys would be excellent. Thank you! I CAN get video if need be.

Doing okay other than hopping around avoiding weight on that foot, kind of holds the leg either up and forward, or to the side, but still hops around pretty quickly, will use the foot to move very fast, though. eating and drinking still okay, so im not really sure whats up? still no swelling, that i can see?

leg, other than favoring it, looks pretty normal. hmmm...
