Well I candled... I had 4 that didn’t have any development & 8 that look like they quit around day 8-10. 3 eggs I left in as they were dark everywhere but the air cell though I could not tell in they were internally pipped! If they don’t hatch tomorrow then I will turf them but I feel like I’m just being hopeful.
It was all in all a lousy hatch but hey the eggs were free & the bator is a loaner soooo no harm no fowl (hehe).
I feel as though I let my husband sway my original plan because “well she said to do this & she had a near perfect hatch!” I believe she dry hatched but I have no idea if she increased humidity during lockdown (I did) but like I said most of the eggs stopped developing well before lockdown day.
Now my debate is wether to throw some of my duck eggs in the incubator....
