Our 6 week old Buff Orpington hasn't grown in over a week. In fact, she lost weight. I started them on vitamin water and apple cider vinegar. I separated her from the other three and put her in the small brooder to see if she was pooping, and she is. The poop is smaller than the other chicks, but she's half their size so I think it's fine. I put her back in with the others when I saw she was pooping. She is acting fine. Maybe a little sleepy looking, but she still walks around pecking and acting chicken-y. I have seen her eating and drinking. No one is bullying her. In fact, I think our little Roo might be protecting her because every time I go and get her, he tries to block me. She won't eat egg or yogurt. None of them will! They just ignore it.
She was down another 1/4 oz when I weighed her this morning.
She was smallest of the 4 to begin with, but only by an ounce. The gap just kept widening. Now the other three are all around a pound, and she is 6 7/8oz. She was 7 3/4 a few days ago, and that was her max.
No vets around here see chickens. I called EVERYONE.
Any ideas?
