DH had to separate our roosters yesterday. Poor ole Chick Magnet lost his title of head rooster. its urprising as hes only three. Junior wasnt waiting any longer to take over. Went out yesterday morning and junior was out with the hens struting around lke he owned the place. Crowing to beat the band. this is unusual as Chick Magnet kept him in his place.( in fact I dont think I've ever heard him crow before). Poor ole Chick Magnet was in the coop hiding in a nest. When he finally came our junior jumped onhim and started beating him up. DH took Chick Magnet out and put him in a separate run with one of his old girls Now hes crowing to beat the bank again so I guess hes happy again.
