chick missing

I let my chickens out in the morning and put them up at roost at night...last night when i went to lock the door one of the chicks were missings..they are about 10 weeks old...me and hubby looked everywhere...no sign of a dead chick with feathers....what do you think happened? Hawk?

I hope he turns up. Sometimes they hide and turn up the next day.

Our BR hen did the same thing. We could never find her until the next day she just pops out. They can fit into tiny spaces or crevices. Our was hiding under a frame and some stacked plywood. I hope you find your baby
