I went on a naming streak today. I have about 30 with no names so I jotted down some names I liked and wrote them down to the chicken. Now there's to many knew ones to remember or teach my family....
Here ya go!
These are from Dipsy Doodle Doo!

We are still trying to name our 10 girls, so far we have Maisy, Daisy, Charlotte, Dahlia, and Eloise. 5 more to go!

Originally we had names picked out before we got the chicks but ended up not naming them initially because we heard that they can die so easily that you should wait a few weeks. So we waited a little while to make sure they were healthy and they sort of grew into names. Little Brown and Big Brown (silkies), Little Grey and Gus (guineas), Zeke and Zeus were also guineas but they died. We have two white silkies but they still don't have definite names. We call them both blondie because they are still yellow chicks. Once we can tell them apart one will be Sophie. Our 5 bantams were named based on personality. There's Momma because she was the biggest chick and she seemed to care for the others right away. Cubby because he was a little black ball of fluff who looked like a baby bear cub. Another is Ruby (a cochin of some sorts) and others are Annie and Pippy (RIR bantams).

I am getting three chicks very soon, which will all be hens, any idea's what i should call them?

try thinking of a theme.
think of a strong interest or subject, such as influential people, computer games,tv shows etc-then have a look through various names from the theme that are available to see which ones fit best.

because the last flock of mine are living here/a residential centere, the autism service which runs here made a webpage on their site about it- http://fairfieldresidential.co.uk/index.php?pageId=69 inc old pics/vids and descriptions of each name.

the next flock who will be born in like a week or so will have a theme to,hopefuly something influential as its something to think about and raise awareness as well.
