Chick names, anyone?

I am getting three chicks very soon, which will all be hens, any idea's what i should call them?

I think that's your call. I like really old names. Like Maybell and Zella and Serepta and Beryl and Wilhelmine and such.

I think you'll know their names when you see them. We have Chicken Little, a Dominique, Cluckita (like chaquita), a Barred Rock, Oprah, a White Leghorn (we got her on CL and that was her name), Pox, an EE, Comet, a Comet (she was originally Nugget), Stormy, a Sizzle, and Butternut, a Polish/Silkie mix (she was originally Pumpkin and might actually become Nutmeg). Naming them is so fun.

I used to like having a theme, like one year I did star wars, then Robin Hood, then Famous Feminists.

they are brown layer hens

We went with old fashioned names. We have Beatrice (buff orpington), Elenore (barred rock), Penelope, Matilda, and Sara (unknown breeds at this time)

We just got two new 8 week old EE's today and my daughter...who is very into rhyming right now...has named them Flora and Dora!
