Hey, me too! All our hens are named for flowers. So I made a sign for my coop that says "Coop des Fleur". It makes them feel fancy to be French.

I tend to get silly if I don't follow a theme on names, although my sister insists it's the kiss of death to name pets matching names. She worked at a vet's office for over 10 years and says that every time someone brought in puppies named, for example, Trixie and Dixie, that one would inevitably get sick. Think maybe she's a bit superstitious?

Let's see....ummm, how 'bout Marcia, Jan, Cindy, and Greg, Peter and Bobby? hehehe.....

I always take the names of writers and their characters, regardless of gender. You can usually add a girly twist to a guy name. The problem is, you wind up with themed names that almost nobody recognizes, which stinks when you want to share with the world how clever a namer you are.
My grandmother names all her chickens Henrietta, which absolutely proves she is a far wiser woman than me.

Our new chicks have female names that can be changed to male names if necessary:
Prima-Italian for First. The first hatched. Will be Primo if a roo
Olive-because my son said she looked a wet soggy olive when she hatched. Will be Oliver if a roo
Georgie-hatched on George Washington's birthday. Will be George if a roo.
Our adult hens are Sasha and Rocky.

We have
Opus (looks like a penguin)
Molasses (named for the colour)
Irving (found at a gas station)
Roswal (supposed to be a pullet named Rosie, but she's a he)
