This chick will be four weeks old on Monday, and yet it has nearly no feathers at all.
I'm not sure on breed, as I ordered Welsummers, a Brown Leghorn, and a Speckled Sussex, so it could be any of those.

I know they say roosters sometimes feather slower than hens, but this is "supposed to be" a pullet. I know mistakes happen and it might be a roo, that's not really my concern so much as why at this age it still has almost no feathers.

It's vent also looks a bit weird. It's bald for starters, and there's a little bit of crusty stuff, but no poop build up. I can't tell if it looks swollen, or if it just sticks out like that because it has no down.

I believe this is one of the chicks who had pasty butt shortly after I got them, but it cleared up fine.

This chick is not bullied, eats and drinks well, is super active, and acts just like all the others.

What can I do? (Included pictures of "siblings" for comparison.)

The vent does look odd. Does the chick poop o.k.?
I would start soaking the vent once a day in warm epsom salts bath, dry her very well, then apply some coconut oil. Not sure if it's scabby or damaged from some picking or if there is something else going on there. Any yeasty smell coming from the chick? (breath or vent).

What are you feeding, including treats?
This photo below, does the chick stand like that most of the time or was that because you had your hand in front of it?

She pooped very shortly after this photo was taken and it looked just like adult hen poop, just smaller. I'm actually wondering if that in itself is normal now that I think about it. No yeasty or otherwise strange smell that I've noticed.

They are only fed their chick starter/grower. Nutrena Nature Wise is the brand I think. No treats.
(I was thinking of picking up some nutridrench today? )
As for her posture, she was only standing that way because of my hand.

You are feeding her correctly, she is not bullied and is healthy acting and not sickly.
I think she is just fine and is just slower to get those feathers going.
Ile bet she catches up with the others.
I have had some late bloomers myself.

I truly hope that's the case, but I'm still worried. At this rate I don't know how to keep decreasing the brooder temperature with her not being feathered, and she's too big and feisty to put with my younger chicks.
