Now if you have recently ordered from a hatchery, and are waiting for your chicks, or have recently recieved them, post what you ordered, where you ordered from, and when your recieve them, post pictures.

Hi, I am new to the board. I have been reading it for a while and finally desided to sign up. I have ordered from Ideal and my chicks will be delivered sometime in April, not sure what day yet because some of the chicks I wanted were sold out until April. This is the first time i have ordered from Ideal, I have used Murray Mcmurray in the past but desided to try Ideal after reading this board.

I have two orders, both scheduled to come next week. They were originally set for last month, but I delayed them till the week of March 10th. I'm really hoping it's warm enough here...don't think I can delay them again.

I just found out the friend that I borrowed the incubator from, is looking for chicks for her daughter, for 4-H. This will help me disperse a few of the chicks that I ordered too many of....can we say, the huge Cochins, that I'm guessing will eat me out of house and home

I wanted to be sure and get a blue though, so ordered 5 of them, and with the buffs, well, was hoping to get a nice roo, like a beautiful one I saw on here-can't remember who had him darn it!

I split an order with a neighbor from Cackle. We ordered:

They are suppose to ship out on the 10th!

Well, I ordered for several 4-H families, so we ordered a total of 105 chicks. Some weren't laying, so we had them split the order so we can get some of our chicks now and the others later when they start laying. We have an early fair so we need the chicks soon, so they will be mature enough. The first order is being mailed March 10 from Meyer and will be 75 chicks.

I am only getting 8, 3 welsummer pullets, 1 cockeral, 3 SLW pullets and 1 cockeral. I also have 20 eggs in the 'bator that I ordered. A dozen BLRW and 8 Blue/Black orps, due to hatch on the 21st.

One of my families live in city limits, so there birds will be staying here. 5 blue silkies, 3 partridge silkies arriving in the first batch, and 3 Black Tailed White japs on backorder.

We will be placing another order soon for waterfowl!
