We are first time incubator hatchers. Our incubator automatically turns and has the digital humidity and temperature reading on it. We have an Ohiki chick that is pipping already but the incubator says there are 7 more days on the countdown. That would make this chick hatching just at 2 weeks. We are not sure how this happened but are wondering how we handle her hatching while the other eggs are definitely not even within 3 days of hatching. Also, I know you are suppose to remove them from the turners and place them on the wire incubator floor but there won't be room for the egg to really "move". Any suggestions? We hear very strong chirping. Thank you for your time and knowledge.

I'm guessing by now the little one hatched. But you question might could have been answered in incubators anonymous thread or the hatch along. Sorry I'm new and can't answer the question. How is the baby did It survive?

I thought I was in the hatch along thread! Lol! I am still learning to navigate this site. Yes. The chick is healthy and we removed it and put it with the other chicks that mamas had hatched. With 6 days left on the incubator we have another chick pipping today! As long as they are healthy I guess. Thank you for the thread suggestion.
