So I have this one chick and Ive been checking up on it and it's droppings and this one was runny and it dried up a little bit and saw some redness (possibly blood) was looking this up and think it could be cocci. I have medicated feed, nutri drench and other probiotics. Just at a loss on what's what with chicks. The chick is active and eating and looks pretty good but I don't know about the upcoming days.

Have your chicks been exposed to soil? If it is cocci you wouldn't want to give vitamins with the medication (even the medicated feed) because it won't work with B vitamins

No they haven't been near soil or on and instead of medicated feed should it just be the regular feed and the nutri drench with electrolytes and probiotics?

I give medicated once they start to go outside and they only need Nutri-Drench, etc if they are struggling. If your chick hasn't been exposed to soil it's unlikely to have been exposed to cocci

We had 10 chicks 5 passed and the others were getting too aggressive had to move them, their temp was good 90-80 went down after a couple of weeks they got a brooder plate, and we're eating good.

That's a pretty high mortality rate. Do you have any pictures of your brooder? Were they shipped or did you get them at a feed store?

x2, how old are they? Medicated or unmedicated feed is fine for now, I wouldn't give them all the other stuff unless they're newly arrived or actually need it.

Reason you don't want to introduce anything with extra vit B (i.e. Nutri-Drench) is medicated feed (at least in US) includes a coccidiostat like amprolium which is a thiamine inhibitor. By adding extra vit B you're adding extra thiamine to the mix.

Got them from cal ranch right around the corner from my house, 3 days old (what they said) 2 weeks now.

So cut the nutri drench (electrolytes and probio)?, and just use the same old medicated feed and regular water (sink water or what type?).

Yes. Electrolytes especially are not intended for long term use. I just use water from my tap, if you trust it enough to drink then it's fine for chickens.
