I have 4 chickens all around 2 months old, and the my manage to hop the fence and it kind of upsets the neighbors. We are getting more fencing, but in the meantime what should I do? They need room outside of their coop, but they always find a way out

I have a 5 foot chain link fence which my chickens used to jump over all the time. I took some bushy branches and wove them through the fence, hanging over the top, bending inwards and the chickens stopped jumping the fence.

This is the back of the coop, The fence is no taller than 3 feet. There is more fencing coming, but right now it’s hard keeping them inside and on our side of the fence.

I have 6.5-7’ fencing and I have a couple of adventurous young girls that find their way out almost every day 🤪 I keep moving the toys and perches around in the run but they always find a way! Trying to avoid bird netting on top because I like to throw the garden scraps over and the run door hurts my back to bend through. Feel your pain!
