My chicks hatched on Friday, and there are three problems.

1) One chick, while up and doing chicky things, is hunched over, head pointing down instead of up, and looks lopsided.

2) It seemed like hatching was done (late day 23), so I was cleaning up the incubator and checking to see what happened to the eggs that did not hatch. I crack them carefully and look, sometimes partially developed, sometimes almost there but died. I crack one egg and I hear a peep! So I took the shell apart and it is still alive, but not doing so well.

3) One chick looks good, but won't walk around, but instead is squatting down.

Is there anything that I can do? HELP!

out of my field of expertise. I'll bump you up so someone else can help you.

Sorry but there is nothing you can really do for them.
You can try to figure out what went wrong so it does not happen again.
A 23 day hatch is a clue, Old eggs? Low temperature? Genetic defects?
Answer that question and try again.

Thanks for the responses. I think it may have been a temp problem, the incubator had been acting up.
