Chick refuses to eat starter feed.

My 1 week old chicks that has been weak refuses to eat chick feed. I've fed it egg yolk and she absolutely loved it but when I attempted to feed it chick feed she tasted it and didn't want anymore chick feed. I watered it down so that it would match the consistency of the egg yolk and she didn't like it. How do I make her eat the chick feed?

I would not try to make her eat something she obviously does not want to eat.

I would offer her a variety of real food such as milk-soaked bread, thinly spread peanut butter sandwich (finely chopped), banana, plain natural yogurt, tinned sardines, and keep experimenting till you have a selection of foods from the different food groups (meat, fish, green veg, root veg, nuts, seeds etc.) that she will eat and thrives on.

you could try mixing egg yolk and the soaked starter together and feeding her that and then slowly decreasing the amount of yolk until it's all feed.
