These are my first chicks ever. Does anyone more experienced have any idea what the sexes might be fore these 3. I have 2 Mille Fleur d’Uccles and 1 silkie. With my newbie luck I’m thinking they are all Roos. The 2 milles are 6 weeks old and were hatched together even tho there is a size difference. The smaller one has a lighter and smaller comb so I originally thought pullet but it keeps growing and so does “she”. The black silkie is 8 weeks old. I would appreciate any help. Thanks!

Welcome! I'm sure that your Belgian d'Uccles are both cockerels, and very cute! The Silkie, I have no idea. They can be difficult to sex until older.

I was afraid that was going to be the answer. How sad. They are beautiful and very sweet, but I won’t be able to keep them.

I believe all 3 including the silkie are boys. The D’Uccles are for sure boys. I can’t see the silkie comb as well because it’s so dark but it looks like there’s some development to it.
