We have a 21 day old chick that is running backwards, spinning, and tucking her head to her belly. It is sad to watch her suffer and we are trying to help her. Could this be the wry neck or vit E selenium deficiency? I want to make sure I am helping in the correct way to get her better. Thank you in advance for any advice!

found this thread that may help you, seems like it might be a thiamine deficiency....good luck

I would give vitamins with both E and thiamine (B1) along with a small amount of scrambled egg daily for selenium. It does sound like neurological symptoms of wry neck, which can be hereditary, or caused by a vitamin E or thiamine deficiency, or head injury. In older chickens it is seen in some viruses such as Mareks and others.
