Found an old thread here with a recipe for bulk chick starter called my local feed mill and it is more than 35$ cheaper than by the bag for the same money I will get 200lbs more feed

My question is can I feed this to adults cause I can't find a mix for flight conditioner or could I just back off on the soy meal when they mix it to cut back some on the proteins and if I do so could breeders eat this if they have oyster shell for calcium?

Cotyrnix bobwhit and gambrel I found a mix for broader flight conditioner and grower now to lol so I'm gonna get a batch of all of them

You can feed starter feed to adult quail all their lives. It won't hurt a thing as long as they are still producing, so as to use up the high protein. :)

Thank you very much for the info I have a few hundred birds now and soon to have several hundred more as I am trying to expand so I will have to get bulk feed as it will save me over $6 a bag to have a costom grind I have a few I found here and other places on the web so I just gotta pick which ones I want and go for it I guess lol
