I have some left over chick feed from my last hatch in October. Bought in December. I was wondering if it can go stale?

Yes it goes stale. I'd feed it to the birds and get rid of it. There's never any point in "saving" feed.

Can they get sick from eating it?

My chick starter got wet from my 4 yr old last night. Not all of it, just a few spots. I have taken out all the wet spots I can find. Is it okay to give to my chicks or do I have to waste it all?
