Chick stiff leg

I have a 4 day old baby chick with a stiff- straight out leg. The wing on that side is also odd. I can't put it in with the others or it gets trampled.

I will try that after i teach my homeroom class. I know that I can bend it and it seems to not hurt the chick so that is a good sign

No there is no swelling but I see the website has the wrapping and may try that along with massage-like therapy.

If she can't stand and the leg is staying out stiff, then you can try treating as splay leg.
Hard to know what's going on there, it may be slipped tendon.

Not all leg issues can be corrected and the chick fails to thrive. Do what you can and see what happens.
Will she willing eat/drink on her own or are you having to syringe feed her?
I would also get some B-Complex and give 1/4 tablet a day for a chick that size.

UPDATE
We are almost a little over a week now and still striving. Did the tape method and daily exercise of the leg and working well.
