Chick Stopped During Zip! Help!

You should hopefully still be able to see the membrane move when the chicks beak does.. I've had to help eggs like that. Others have said theirs hatch out just fine..

Thank you for the prompt response! I cannot see the beak or hear any chirping as of right now. Its difficult to see in that teeny tiny hole. Im about to take a flashlight and try to check it out that way. Sometimes the light gets the eggs rocking or a peep. I keep the incubator closed during hatching so humidity shouldnt be an issue at 70-75%. I'll check back in shortly! Fingers crossed everything is ok with this little guy.

Okay so I cannot see the beak at all. The hole is just too small but I did have another hatch so thats 2 that have hatched so far. The one with the yellowish membrane is still alive- I do see movement in the shell. Should I go ahead and dab some coconut oil on it? I heard a wet papertowel could chill the egg.

Sorry. I didn't get to this sooner.. How are they??
The one I was originally concerned about at the start of this thread hatched successfully last night 🤗💜 the one with the yellowish membrane around the pip hole is exactly the same. I heard peeping from it this morning and saw the egg rocking. I think I may go ahead and intervene, just nervous about it.

Did that one last chick hatch? I had two like that on my last hatch that pipped in the middle like that and I had to assist. They made it just fine.
They all hatched successfully. I almost assisted but when I went to check on the egg, I saw it started to zip so I left it alone and it ended up hatching just fine 🤗 it is extremely tired though so I've been providing electrolytes.
