hello ..i have a question

i have eggs in the incubator and three days ago one of the eggs piped ...later that day the chick starting breaking through the egg but did not fully hatch ...
the chick stayed in the egg for another day and today i went to check on him and he was still inside the egg so i decided to help him out .... turns out that the chick was somehow glued to egg and has already absorbed all the blood and the yolk and even pooped in the egg...

the problem is that because the chick stayed in the egg for too long his legs became deformed

is there anything i can do to help??
will his legs get better with time ?

thanks

Are it’s feet or it’s legs disfigured? And yes it was most likely dried to the egg when it was trying to get out if a chicks membrane drys out it will dry to the chick I have had this happen if your chick has some stuck to it you can take a warm damp rag and hold it on the spots for like a minute but don’t let it get to cold or it will just fall off it just looks weird but other chicks can be mean so keep a eye out for it, hope this helps

Can you post pictures of it’s legs?

This happens because of temperature problems. I had two chicks glued to egg shells last week and one the week before for this reason. I had to cull the first chick, but I helped the other two chicks out soon enough to save them from having any major issues (nothing a little dose of nutridrench couldn't cure). Post pictures of their legs. They might need hobbles and/or boots depending on how severe their issues are.

Here are some pics of issues I had. This is boots. the toes on one of it's feet wouldn't stay open.

So I made a tape boot for the chick to split the toes in place.

The boot fell off overnight and this was how boots looked the next day.

I had a chick two weeks ago that had VERY bad issues that I had to cull. Here is what I did to try to help that baby.
Splayed leg chick not doing well in hobbles

:goodpost: You should also get some Nutri Drench, in the event it's also a vitamin deficiency. Great job Redhead Rae :celebrate
I love the stuff! One of the chicks I assisted last week had a hard time staying upright after hatch. When it would try to pick up its head, it would flip over backwards and stay stuck on its back. I gave it a drop of pure nutridrench and put it back in the incubator. before I finished dosing the other 4 chicks (5 min or so) the chick was able to lift its head without flipping. Prior to that it was on its back within seconds of me righting it.
