So I have a late hatcher, day 25, and she has pipped a decent little hole, however, its been over a day and a half and nothing has progressed. I bumped up the humidity, wrapped the egg in a wet cloth, and picked away some of the shell to give her more space. It looks like the membrane might have dried out. What are your thoughts on this?

Well putting a wet cloth on an egg actually draws out the moisture so possibly you need to slowly assist it out. Only remove a tiny bit in a zip pattern and if it bleeds stop and use cornstarch or flour to stop the bleeding. Vaseline on the open membrane will keep it moist.

Ok i removed the cloth, I did the zip pattern, and i will add some Vaseline.

Then if active you need to help it slowly by removing the end off in a zip..Then chick can hatch himself

Agree here fully, just wrote an article about a 100% same situation than you're in. You've got to hit that membrane because if it has been 1.5 days it is going to be hard and leathery around the hole. But don't do all the work, get it about half way around. When I did that in my same situation I came back 3 hours later and she was out- and my chick sounds like she was a lot weaker than yours.

Yea i did removed some of the membrane and the chick is moving more now. I think i did enough to where she can bust out in a few hours. I will keep checking on her and if need be i will remove some more
