Chick supplies...Please advise

This is just based off of the prices where I live. Walmart has pine bedding 4cubic feet for about $6. At the feed store it is $7.50 for only 3cubic feet.

I priced pine shavings Mills Fleet Farm (big box store for everything home and farm) and they had the 4 cubic compressed pine shaving packages selling for around $5. Expandable to 7 cu ft I believe.
