My chicks are 4 weeks going on 5. They are still in my spare room. I have been turning the heat lamp off during the day. My question is at night our house temp stays around 70 do they still need the heat lamp at night?

Do they act like they need the lamp? If they’re huddling as if they are really cold, then it’s probably best to keep the light on. If they are fine without the light, then turn it off?

No they don't need heat at this point. Leave it off so they can harden up a bit and then move out.
