I was not going to help it, but mom (my broody) when taking care of the 10 other chicks smashed most of the shell. and as the title says the yoke is not completely absorbed. I have it inside with me, in a little tub with a heat lamp on it, it and the remaining shell (yokes attached to it) are wrapped up in a damp washcloth.
This might sound like a really dumb idea but would it help to put it in an old Easter egg (with a couple holes poked in it) so it could use the "shell" to help absorb the yoke? any other ideas are very welcome!

This has happened to me more than once. The chick never survived. I'm sorry, you can try to keep it alive, but I believe it will die. And I don't think putting it in a easter egg will help much.

I had taken a closer look and not all organs had been absorbed

and from what I was reading said he/she was most likely not going to make it I tried the egg thing and It did absorb some more, but from how fast it died, It was fine at 12:45 but when we got home (we went to the fair) that night it had passed, so it probably got an infection. RIP little #11
