chick that likes to sleep UNDER her sister chick?

This chick is weird. since we got the two, one them always has to sleep under the other one. she won't sleep until she's under her! so the other chick has to sleep standing up LOL! while this chick sleeps laying down between the others legs...

weirdo!

now they are in the coop and they do this on the roost! they can barely do this because well, its just a 2x3 and its only so wide so that they don't fall, but I go out there and the one is still getting underneath the other one and trying to sleep that way.


is this weird or what?! I think its weird. and how on earth will this continue as they get bigger ya know? they're already 2 mos old.

My chickens have always piled on each other...my blue wyandotte has always been smaller than the others her age, and she sleeps on the very top of the pile-o-chickens! And I have 2 silkies that are 1 year, and the other is 5 months...the younger one always sleeps on top of the other...nothing like a self-warming feather bed!!

Chickens are all weird in their own special ways!!!

My chickens are grown and they still do it. They all try to fit under my rooster because he's bigger and they end up knocking him off the roost.

I thought mine were weird they do that too.
