Chick thumping and wiggling

Funny post this time, I have a silly question about a silly thing my chicks do. When they are sitting down or sleeping, they will randomly start violently wiggling into what they are laying on. It kinda makes a thumping sound, but they seem normal. I just wanna know what its called, I personally call it “sleep-twerking”

Yes, it's completely normal and so adorable! They are practicing dust bathing! My little ones use to do it in the palm of my hand. Then in their bedding. Now that they are grown and outdoors, they do it in the dirt/dust.
