Hello!
I have two weeks old (today) chicks. Everybody is doing well and looking healthy. I am wanting to introduce some treats, cut up fruit and veggies, but I am looking for some clarification and or guidelines to follow. I have been pulling some weeds ( roots, dirt, and all) and they seem to love pecking and playing with these. My hope is to keep them busy and happy with other things instead of pecking at each other so much.
To clarify the chicks all appear healthy and I do not see any wounds, but I have two or three, of 13, that seem to really like to peck at each other, and because I am a new chick owner I am not familiar with what is ordinary behavior.
Any advise is welcome!
